Download the free mini gameWhy we do this
Children aged 6 to 9 spend on average 220 minutes a day in front of screens. Banning them is hard. Offering something more fun is easier.
A game starring your kids and your home is the best idea we've had so far.
The games are designed by AI
Yes, we see the irony. AI drafts the stories and codes, a human tests them with real kids and makes sure they are safe and make sense. We share how it's going in an open weekly diary.
Questions
What age is the game for?
For children aged 5 to 10. We pick the codes by the youngest child's age: 5–6 riddles, a picture alphabet and a secret colouring page, 7–8 also mazes, word searches and cut-out puzzles, 9–10 e.g. Morse code, a cipher wheel or Braille. No code repeats within one game.
How many kids can play?
One to five. Each one appears in the story by name and gets their own certificate.
Do I need a printer?
Yes, the game is a printable PDF. Black and white on A4 is fine.
Can we play outdoors?
Yes. Choose where you'll play and we'll only offer hiding spots that make sense there.
How long does it take?
It depends on how many stations you choose: 4 stations take about 30 minutes, 10 stations about an hour. The kids' age matters too. Your setup takes about 5 to 10 minutes.
